About Us

Karl's Farm is a small, family run farm. We use natural and sustainable methods to grow a wide variety of herbs and vegetables. We also raise free range chickens and have farm fresh eggs for sale whenever the hens co-operate.

In 2008 we added two beautiful Dexter heifers to our farm. Tessie and Velvet have settled in nicely and are becoming calmer, although they have horns and know how to use them. In June 2009 we bought a wonderful Dexter bull, Royal, as a mate for our heifers and it seems they are quite taken with him. Two calves were born on the farm in March - Achilles and Kizzie.

Garfield - our ginger Tom cat - continues to grow and is a much loved family member. He patrols the property and has a voracious appetite for mice, voles and other vermin.
